We started Crim's Class Non-Profit so the resources, the services, and the learning experiences I spent years building could reach communities that have been historically overlooked and under-resourced, without a price tag standing between our kids and their own history.

Our Mission
Crim’s Class Nonprofit is dedicated to providing accessible educational resources, services, and transformative learning experiences, and advocacy, to empower historically overlooked communities, following the lead of educators in our legacy, both traditional and non-traditional, that have paved the way.
What Happens When Our Kids Get Half the Story
The gaps in what we were taught do not stay in school with us they follow us into how we vote, what we notice, and what we are willing to accept from the institutions we spend our lives inside of.
When Black history gets pushed to the margins or told wrong on purpose, whole communities lose the knowledge that would have helped them build better systems and hold the ones we already have to account.

Education Our Kids Can Actually Use
We design every program so that what somebody learns turns into understanding, then into agency, and then into something they are willing to go do about it.
Institutional Partnerships
We work alongside schools, museums, and civic organizations so Black history sits inside their core work instead of one week on the calendar.

We bring this history out to where people already are, so it can meet what they are actually living through right now.

Founder & Visionary
I started Crim's Class because I got tired of watching Black history get treated like a footnote in a country it built, and I wanted somewhere to put the work that would hold people accountable to the whole record.
I believe what we learn shapes what we do, and I believe the institutions handing our kids their education owe them the complete, contextualized version of it rather than the tidy one.
So we build slow, on purpose, for programs that will still be standing long after the news cycle that made everybody care has moved on.
